It’s official – the JCPenney + Bombfell big & tall subscription box service is ending on 3/1. The box offered a personal stylist service based around JCPenney’s big & tall offerings with sizes to 5X.
UPDATE: Read the Bombfell response below. The box was a joint venture between both companies, meaning they would both need to agree to continue the partnership. When asked why the subscription box was ending, Bombfell representatives had no comment. They did, however, share the following:
Though we’ll stop sending shipments out after 2/28, we will continue to accept returns and issue refunds for any returns received by April 15, 2019. After 2/28, we encourage all Chubstr readers to visit jcp.com directly where they can still shop all the brands they enjoyed throughout the Big & Tall Box partnership.
Bombfell customer service is now recommending that current customers of the box shop directly at JCPenney.com. This is a partial solution in that you can get the same clothing you would have received in the box, but no personal stylist service, which was a big draw for the box.
