Contributor Matthew Simko recently returned from a well-deserved European vacation with some good friends, and he’s sharing photos from the trip with us throughout the week. You’ll see pictures from some amazing locations in France and Switzerland, and we’ll give you a breakdown of each of his looks. In fact, today’s photo comes from Matthew’s stop in Gruyères, Switzerland. See what he has to say about his stop in this city that’s known for some very tasty cheese.
Hanging out at the bottom of Gruyères Castle in Gruyeres, Switzerland. The views were amazing as was the town. Cobblestone streets lined with cheese shops, chocolatiers, and restaurant. We had Gruyere cheese fondue while sitting in Gruyeres, Switzerland with the mountains as our background… talk about mind blowing. No cars are allowed in this part of the town making it incredibly peaceful. All you could hear was the bells on the cows grazing on the mountainside.
