Before Adam Greenberg started One Bone, his new big & tall clothing brand, he was making clothes for himself. Frustration with the lack of trendy options for big guys led him to buy fabric and make his own designs. As he wore them out in the world, people wanted to know where he got his clothes. Greenberg realized he could offer something that people needed and One Bone was born.
The goal with One Bone was to create big and tall clothing that could be dressed up or worn casual, depending on the wearer’s need. Starting with t-shirts seemed like a no-brainer, as there were no options on the market that fit his needs. You can see the streetwear influence in the products currently available on their website.
One Bone shirts put a real focus on style and fit. With shorter, more fitted sleeves, a spacious stomach and a bit of length to keep things covered, Greenberg thought about how to fit a big guy’s body. The shirts themselves are 95% cotton and 5% spandex, meaning they are breathable and will better move with your body. According to the website, the shirts won’t cling to your body, causing you to constantly pull at them. Even better, the brand offers shirts in sizes to 6X.
Greenberg not only shares photos and stories from One Bone’s customers, he also made sure that the brand helps support the plus size community. In October, they collaborated with National Curves Day, or NCD, to create a shirt with a limited edition design. NCD is an organization that promotes body diversity and positivity for men and women.
