The Bigger Picture flash mob returns in 2024

The Bigger Picture Flash Mob to Return to NYFW 2024

The big & tall flash mob, The Bigger Picture, is returning to Times Square during New York Fashion Week in February 2024. The event, founded by models Cameron Boyland, Brandon Madden, Steven Green, and Soouizz Okeke, began in 2022 to raise awareness about the lack of size diversity in models during New York Fashion Week.

The Bigger Picture Plus Size Flash Mob

No big guys on the red carpet?

It’s 2023, and there’s still a glaring lack of male plus-size models on the catwalk. The flash mob is a way to get big guys out in front of people – to show the world that plus-size models look great and should be included in fashion campaigns. “Instead of asking to have a seat at the table, we’re creating our own table where everyone has a seat regardless of their shape, color, or size,” said Boyland in 2022.

Here’s how to join The Bigger Picture flash mob

Want to be part of the 2024 installment of The Bigger Picture flash mob? The event is happening Saturday, February 10th, at 10 am at the Red Stairs in Times Square – 200 W 47th St New York, NY. You can register for the flash mob by clicking here. Tickets are $50, which makes you part of the event (there will be photos, so wear your Saturday best) and gets you a The Bigger Picture statement t-shirt.

Need modeling lessons? They can help you with that

In addition to the annual flash mob, The Bigger Picture is evolving into a resource for those interested in plus-size male modeling. You can buy their e-book to learn how to become a model and even book an online consultation for one-on-one model coaching from big guys doing it professionally at their website.
