IMPORTANT UPDATE: Indochino reached out to let us know that they have updated their suit making process, so now – in stores, their patterns only allow them to make suits to a size 56. According to the company, however, you can still order online (measuring yourself from the comfort of your own home) and get a suit in any size.
Indochino, our favorite custom men’s clothier recently opened showrooms in cities across North America, including Toronto, Vancouver, New York City, and San Francisco. These shops are a longer-term take on the Traveling Tailor pop up shops that the company had been bringing to various metro areas recently. They were willing to work with me to put together a stylish suit that flattered my body type and stood out. No boxy shoulders or any of the trademarks of the big men’s suits many of us are used to.
