This weekend was supposed to see the Tweed Run’s latest event, in New York City. According to this blog post late last week, they decided to cancel the run due to the Occupy Wall Street gatherings going on around the city. Though the bike ride was out, there was still plenty of reason to break out the tweed. The organizers of the event encouraged people meet at the Rugby store in NYC (as they were sponsoring the event) for live entertainment, food, and giveaways. Although the event wasn’t as large as London’s tweed run, it looks like fun was had. Look below for a few photos from the event.
