Foundry Button Down & Big Mac Shirt Jacket

See Our Favorites from the JCPenney Big & Tall Fall Collection

This summer, we released a new series called Behind the Brand, that takes a look at what goes into creating clothes in extended sizes. To kick things off, we went to JCPenny HQ in Plano Texas to learn about the fall edition of their Foundry Big & Tall line. Did you know there’s even more available for big guys than what we showed you on the show? Here are some of our other favorites from JCP for fall, in sizes to 6XL.

JCPenney Foundry Big & Tall Long Sleeve Flannel Shirt

Foundry Big & Tall Flannel Shirt – $24

Foundry Big & Tall Long Sleeve Flannel (Sizes to 6XL) – $24
Need a roomy, inexpensive and colorful flannel shirt? Look no further than this one from Foundry. I’m wearing a 2XL and it fit me well without being tight. If you don’t like the slimmer fits that some brands are offering, then this shirt is for you. Plus, at $24, the price is difficult to beat.

Foundry Big & Tall Long Sleeve Tee

Foundry Big & Tall Long Sleeve T-Shirt – $36

Foundry Big & Tall Long Sleeve Graphic Tee (Sizes to 6XL) – $36
You might remember this shirt from Part 1 of JCPenney Behind the Brand. We got to see this shirt go from design to actual product throughout the show. To be honest, this type of shirt isn’t my go-to style, so I had to force myself to wear it around for a while. It turns out, I really like the look! Made with comfortable jersey fabric, the shirt is perfect for just hanging out in. It’s nice to have some graphic tees in your collection – something I’m personally coming back around to.

Foundry Big & Tall Patterned Button Down

Foundry Big & Tall Patterned Button Down – $27

Foundry Big & Tall Patterned Button Down (Sizes to 6XL) – $27
I wore this shirt to Shaquille O’Neal’s clothing line release party in NYC earlier this year and everybody loved it. The Foundry design team told me that what they were seeing in the world of streetwear and street style inspired the fall line, and this piece shows them taking a step in that direction.

Foundry Button Down & Big Mac Shirt Jacket

Foundry Button Down & Big Mac Shirt Jacket – $120 total

Foundry Button Down (sizes to 6XL) – $50, Big Mac Shirt Jacket (sizes to 4XL) – $70
Sometimes you just want a classic, easy look, which is exactly what you get from the outfit above. The shirt is available in brown, burgundy, indigo and olive with sizes to 6XL. The shirt jacket features a quilted lining and at least 3 colors, with sizes to 4XL. Be sure to order a size up, as it runs a bit smaller.

Foundry Big & Tall Long Sleeve Thermal Shirt

Foundry Long Sleeve Thermal Shirt – $24

Foundry Big & Tall Long Sleeve Thermal Shirt (Sizes to 6XL) – $24
When you need to stay warm, but not too warm, a long sleeve thermal can be the perfect solution. Throw one of these on and skip the jacket. You’ll be plenty warm for the rest of fall. I’m wearing a color called hot sauce, but there are 4 other colors available to fit your preferences.

Foundry Big & Tall Short Sleeve Hoodie

Foundry Big & Tall Short Sleeve Hoodie – $36

Foundry Big & Tall Short Sleeve Jersey Hoodie (sizes to 6XL) – $36
As the weather cools down and you’re outside, you need something that retains more heat than a tank top, but doesn’t make you spontaneously combust. This is that thing. The soft jersey fabric gives you comfort when you’re out for a walk or riding the bike, while the hood keeps you warm when you need it.

Foundry Rose Print Big & Tall Button Down Shirt

Foundry Big & Tall Rose Print Button Down Shirt – $27

Foundry Big & Tall Rose Print Button Down Shirt (Sizes to 6XL) – $27
This shirt is the sister to the black and white button down also featured in this article. I found the shirt to be roomy in the stomach and pretty true to size. I’m a fan of the print, the size range and the price.
