Kurt Was Here Collection Big & Tall

Kurt Cobain Has a New Clothing Line, With Sizes Available to 4X

The estate of Kurt Cobain just launched a new clothing collection based around the Nirvana singer’s sketches. ‘Kurt Was Here’ draws from sketches, notebooks and paintings he created over the years.

The clothes in the collection consist of 4 t-shirts, a crewneck sweatshirt and a hoodie, ranging in price from $39 – $69. Sizes range from XXS – 4XL, which will work for a wide range of customers. All designs were taken directly from Cobain’s work, with no edits or resizing.

For the Cobain art aficionado, there’s a $100 coffee-table book available for purchase that includes all the original artwork found on the shirts. See it all for yourself at KurtCobainShop.com. Note that other retailers carry the shirts, but as of this writing, none of them are carrying the extended sizes except for the Kurt Cobain shop.

While there’s some controversy around whether Kurt Cobain would have wanted clothing with his likeness sold in stores, the difference here, according to reps at Live Nation (who partnered with the estate on ‘Kurt Was Here’) is that the collection was created with the guidance of his daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. It’s not the first t-shirt to feature the late Cobain or his band, and it probably won’t be the last. Click the link above to take a look at the collection for yourself.
