There were many stunning looks on the Oscars red carpet last night, but few stood out as much as actor and nominee Harvey Guillen. His black and silver suit was custom-made by designer Christian Siriano, marking his first plus-size menswear design for the red carpet.

When you’re one of the stars, attending the Oscars is only the beginning of the evening. Once the ceremony ends, the afterparties begin! As you can see below, Harvey changed things up for the Vanity Fair afterparty, with custom couture from Christian Siriano.
As you might imagine, getting ready for the Oscars is no small task. Harvey documented the full experience for People.com. He covered everything from a room service-supplied breakfast, to grooming, makeup, and of course, putting on the suit. Take a look at the photos for yourself and you’ll see why it takes a team to put together an Oscars-worthy look.
