Bonobos, the Walmart-owned menswear brand has launched a new streetleisure line, called Fielder. The line offers more fashion-forward options at a more affordable price point. There are some Bonobos Fielder big & tall options, with sizes to 3X and 50 waist, but you won’t find them where you might expect to.
The Fielder line is made to stand out, with bright colors and materials made to accommodate movement. As with all Bonobos products, the clothing in this new line was created with real attention to detail and fit.
Fielder includes products that are made to be easy to grab and go – packable jackets, commuter pants, crinkle nylon shorts, and a reversable vest. Basic and performance tees, sweatshirts, and hoodies are also available in a variety of colors.
Collaboration with new and established artists is another interesting aspect of this collection. Bonobos teamed up with artist and illustrator Mike Perry for the unique graphics seen on sweatshirts, hoodies, and more. Look for more collaborations with other artists in the future.
Although the Fielder big & tall line is made with quality materials to Bonobos’ exacting standards, the collection is still very affordable. The short sleeve pocket tee retails for $14 and the packable mixed media jacket will set you back $40.
Bonobos are no stranger to big & tall clothing. In 2018, the company launched extended sizes, offering shirts, pants, suits, and more with sizes to 4X and 54 waist. When the pandemic hit, the company paused its extended size collection to rework its offerings. According to a spokesperson, Bonobos will not be selling extended sizes in their tops or tailored products for the time being, but they do plan to carry pants to size 46. Fielder, however, is more accommodating.
You’ll find sizes to 3XL in the Fielder line at Walmart stores and online at Walmart.com. According to their fit guide, a 3X equals a 54/56 chest and a 50 waist.
You don’t have to go to the Bonobos website or one of their shops to purchase items from the Fielder line. In fact, if you want the most extended sizes, you won’t find them at Bonobos. Instead, head to Walmart.com or visit one of the 250 select Walmart stores across the country to get the sizing you need.
