Dollar Beard Club, perhaps you’ve heard of it. If not, consider this your introduction. Founded by serial entrepreneur, Chris Stoikos, Dollar Beard Club promises to “deliver the highest quality beard care products directly to your door every month.” Members of the club can order as little or as much as they want as dictated by their beard and mustache needs or overall engagement with said facial hair.
Is it Really Only a Dollar?
As a member of the Dollar Beard Club there are no fees, contracts, or commitments and the membership can be cancelled at any time. You get to decide when to start, what to get, and when the whole thing comes to a screeching halt. Best of all, the whole process, whether it be signing up, changing subscription products, or cancelling is super easy.
To sign up, all you have to do is click the Join Now button, choose at least one product (for as low as a dollar per month for .5oz of beard oil), then continue through to the shipping and billing screens and then you are done. When I did this (yes, I am a member), I think the whole process took 2 minutes, if that. Once the order was processed, the beard oil and mustache wax arrived in 7 days.
Putting Dollar Beard Club to the Test
Now, since I have only tried the beard oil and mustache wax, I can only attest to the awesomeness of these two products, which are pretty awesome. The mustache wax is the new goto for my fuzzy household. It holds well, despite being quite pliable at room temperature, and the smell is quite masculine and woodsy think lumberjack, not treehugger. The beard oil is also on par with just about every oil I’ve tried but instead of a small bottle costing $10$20, it costs $1 which is cheaper than beard oil can be made at home when you consider the cost of packaging.
How does Dollar Beard Club do it for so cheap? Easy. They produce their products in massive quantities in an effort to make a little bit of money from a lot of people instead of the other way around. It is this beardproductforeveryman philosophy that makes it possible to offer such crazy low prices.
