Wireless charging has been around for years, but many of the chargers on the market stink. When I purchased my first QI-enabled phone, the idea of not having to plug in at night was exciting. Unfortunately, the “recommended” wireless charger was flimsy, wouldn’t hold the phone and took ages to charge. Luckily, a company called myCharge is offering a solution that solves these problems and more in the form of the Unplugged 10K wireless charger.

The Unplugged 10K does a little bit of everything and works with all QI-enabled phones. Need a charger by the bed? Check. Need one you can throw in your bag? Perfect. Want to charge multiple devices? Done and done. The flexibility the charger offers is handy, especially if you travel regularly.

If you’re the device-happy type, you can charge 3 devices at once with the Unplugged 10K. Lay your phone on top and use the dual USB ports to charge your iPad, smart speaker or the like. There’s an easy to reach button on the top of the charger that shows you its power level. When I tested charging multiple devices at one time, I had no problems with the charger getting hot or quickly running out of power. After two months of use, it seems to stand up to what you throw at it.
You can also wirelessly recharge the myCharge Unplugged 10K. If you want a wireless charging device sandwich, put the 10K on your old wireless charger and put your phone on top of it. Not only can you wirelessly charge the 10k itself, but it can also serve as a pass-through charger.
Don’t worry, there’s a micro USB cable included if you want to charge it the old fashioned way.
