Gifts for Her: Plus Size Personal Styling from Dia&Co

The holiday season is almost over, and if you’re one of the people still trying to figure out what to get for the lady in your life, we’ve got the answer: new clothes! Don’t worry, I’m not talking about you going shopping for her, I’m talking about hooking her up with Dia&Co, the personal styling service that is making shopping easy for women of all sizes. The company graciously offered to send us a box, and since I don’t know the first thing about women’s fashion, so I asked my wife Shanna to try the service and share her thoughts.

How Does Dia&Co Work?

Like most of us, you probably have a pretty good idea of what styles work for you, and what kind of clothes you need for work, play, and hanging out. A Dia&Co stylist learns more about you, what you like, what you don’t, and takes that info to create a box for you. Each box contains 5 pieces selected to fit your needs, body, and style, all within your budget. You pay for the pieces you like, and return the ones you don’t.

Shanna started by taking the style quiz. “I appreciated that there was a space for me to add my own thoughts, because I’m particular about my style. There’s also a section to add my social profiles so they can check out my style. I can even make a Pinterest board to share with them. You can be pretty specific about the clothing types you like – evening, casual, work, and so on. You can even do that with the kind of clothing you don’t like. They do a great job of helping you narrow things down.”

What’s in the Box?

After Shanna created her account and shared her preferences, Maxey, her Dia&Co stylist, set to choosing the perfect looks. A week later, the box arrived, along with a note from Maxey. Shanna was impressed with what she saw. “All the clothes in the box were nice quality. I appreciated that the clothing they sent me created a whole outfit, but that they were also pieces I could mix and match in my existing wardrobe.”

Shanna’s Dia&Co Favorites

After trying on the pieces and getting a feel for the outfits Maxey sent, Shanna had some clear favorites. I really liked the green tunic because it’s comfortable, but still has unique details like the buttons down the back. I was also surprised by how much I liked the dress. It’s really flattering and not something that I’d normally buy for myself. I’ll get a lot of use out of it.”

What’s the Verdict on Dia&Co?

After a solid first experiences, Shanna says that she would use Dia&Co again. “If I need really great clothes for a variety of situations, this would be a quick and easy way to get what I want. I wish they had more brands that made petite clothing for plus size women, but overall I was really impressed that they were able to put together the looks they did, and I was super selective when it came to picking what I was willing to wear.”
