I’m very excited to be part of the panel at this year’s installment of Diversity NOW, an event put on by the Ryerson University School of Fashion in Toronto. Diversity NOW is a yearly event that discusses the need for diversity in fashion, and the many issues surrounding that. Diversity NOW 2014 takes place on Tuesday, October 21st and is open to the general public.
The best part about the panel? The other people on it! Sharon Haywood from the Dove Self-Esteem Project, Valerie from Idiosyncratic Fashionistas, and The Curvy Fashionista herself, Marie Denee will be joining me to talk about their experiences. The event will be moderated by Dr. Ben Barry, who has done so many great things to help champion diversity in fashion.
Will you be in Toronto on the 21st? Join us at Diversity Now 2014. Get more details below or by taking a look at the image on this post. Please help share this with anyone you know who might be in the area. We’d love to see you there and meet some of our readers!
