It’s been almost a week since Joplin, Missouri was hit by the deadliest single tornado in the United States since record keeping began in 1950. As of Friday, the death toll stood at 132 with 156 people are still missing. Our friends at Fuck Yeah Chubby Guys created a t-shirt that they’re selling with all proceeds going to disaster recovery efforts. Here it is in their own words:
Joplin Missouri was hit with one of, if not the deadliest tornado of all times last night (5/22/2011). The death toll as of 05/23/2011 is 116 and recovery efforts are in full force. We wanted to join in since we are a Missouri based company and have created this shirt. All proceeds will be donated to the recovery efforts to help all of those who have lost their homes, family members and everything they own. These shirts will be available in sizes Small-XXXL and we will be sending them out as soon as they come in from the print shop.
