We’ve talked about Pat Corcoran, Chance the Rapper’s manager and co-founder of Haight Brand before. He was one of our Men of the Week after Chance’s big wins at last year’s Grammy awards, and if you’re not following his awesome, inspirational Twitter account, you’re missing out. Last week Billboard released their 2018 Power 100 list, and Pat is on it, coming in at number 85.
happy new year.

The Power 100 list is Billboard’s annual ranking of industry influencers – the people driving change and making a difference in all aspects of the music business. Three Grammy wins for the first streaming-only album to be recognized by the academy is a pretty huge accomplishment. So is putting together an arena tour that grossed more than $15 million without any backing from concert promoters like Live Nation.
never would of made this much of myself without Chance, my amazing family, my incredible friends & all of the support we get from the Big Man upstairs. i am honored, humbled and ready to keep going, keep growing & best of all- keep loving everyday. #85 pic.twitter.com/BblU7sljhK

As we mentioned in our previous article, Corcoran was going to school to become a psychologist, dropped out to manage Chance full-time and has been building great things ever since. He isn’t resting on his laurels – with Haight Brand managing artists like Knox Fortune, Johnny Balik and Ravyn Lenae to name a few. Best of all, he seems to be an all-around good guy.
