Killer Mike is teaming up with Netflix for a brand new series, dropping on January 18th. Trigger Warning “examines cultural taboos and gives viewers the space to examine the ‘what ifs’ and ‘why nots’ that limit how some people move and operate in the world.”
Mike has never been one to shy away from controversial topics. According to the rapper, the show will dive into some pretty sticky subjects. “In six episodes, we explore the human condition using nontraditional approaches. Not everyone will agree with my methods (and some of what we’re putting out is fucking crazy), but this show is about embracing your freedom to challenge societal expectations and conformity. This show is if an anarchist determined the status quo.”

The series asks interesting questions and tries to get answers. Is it possible to keep your money in the Black community? The Hell’s Angels sell t-shirts, why aren’t the Crips selling merch (in this case, soda)? Watch the trailer above for an even better idea of what kind of hot-button topics Trigger Warning will be diving into.
