Athletic Brewing Dry January

Heavy Conversation Podcast: A Very Dry January

Dry January is here – are you participating? On this week’s episode of the Heavy Conversation Podcast, we’re sharing our favorite non-alcoholic beverages. If it’s been a long time since you tried a non-alcoholic beer, you might be surprised by what’s on the market.

Our Favorite Dry January Drinks

Our favorite non-alcoholic drinks run the spectrum. Not sure where to start? Try these:

Athletic Brewing Co.

Athletic Brewing makes non alcoholic beer that you’ll find yourself drinking after Dry January ends. The company makes bold and flavorful brews that taste just like their alcohol-infused counterparts. Their Run Wild IPA is my go-to if I want a beer but don’t want to deal with the alcohol. They even have a Dry January Party Pack of 30 beers, a disposable camera, a doozie, and a hologram sticker to get you through the month.

Hoplark Tea

Are you a fan of hops? Do you like tea? My friend, you’re in luck! Hoplark combines the two for a delicious alcohol-free drink. Though you can taste the hops, there’s no alcohol, only delicious tea replacing the malt. There are a lot of varieties to choose from, like The Calm One, The Really Hoppy One, The Citra Bomb One, and The Citra Citra Bomb One. See them all and order your favorites.

Brooklyn Brewery Special Effects

I’ve got to admit that Brooklyn Brewery’s selection of standard beers are near the top of my list. When I saw that they offer a host of non-alcoholic options, I had to share the word. Their Special Effects beers taste like you’d expect, but don’t give you a buzz. Choose from an amber, a pilsner, and two types of IPA. There’s even a variety pack to get you through Dry January.
