Comedy fans, take note: Torio Van Grol’s debut album, Magic Knees drops this Friday. The San Francisco based comedian is marking the occasion with an album release show (also Friday) at Brava Cabaret along with Andie Main.

On Magic Knees, Van Grol talks about dating, growing up catholic (definitely listen to the track “God’s Plan”), getting too high, vasectomies, even body image in ways you might not expect but that we all can relate to. Van Grol has been honing his craft around the city for years, including sets at Comedy Central’s Clusterfest and SF Sketchfest 5 years in a row.
