This week on the award-winning Heavy Conversation Podcast, we shared our favorite TV, movies, music, and a few big & tall brands of 2022. But why settle only for the things we love? I reached out to a few of our favorite people to find out what they loved this year. See what they had to say below.
“Besides my family and friends, the Primetime Emmy Awards were my favorite thing this year, not because I love TV (I do) but because I got to attend. In 2021 I joined the Staff at The Daily Show, and in 2022 I saw firsthand how our hard work paid off with 7 Emmy nominations.”
“Somehow, I remained completely oblivious to the fact that I was at the very last show on Elton John’s ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour until the day after. In my defense, this tour has been drawn out over several years and new core stops kept opening up. There is nothing like seeing him at Dodger Stadium. I feel incredibly lucky that a friend of mine knew how much I loved Elton John and went ahead and bought the tickets before even asking me if I wanted to go.”
“I’m super excited that Gregory Mountain Products came out with more plus size packs, making the outdoors even more accessible! They’ve done an amazing job listening to the plus size community making sure these packs are just right.”
“My favorite thing this year was collaborating with Johnny Bigg and National Curves Day along with my peers to launch The Bigger Picture – A Plus-size Male Campaign during New York Fashion week. It was a great event that connected the Big & Tall community and brought more awareness to size inclusivity within the Fashion world.”
