If you’re one of our Pacific Northwest readers, be sure to join us Sunday, September 25th at Holocene in Portland, Oregon for Knock Out – a plus size pop up shop and fashion show. It’s a body positive event featuring some phenomenal artists, designers, and makers from Portland and beyond.
Brands like Chubby Cartwheels (check out their new Fat Beats collection), Re/Dress, and Copper Union will show their latest designs on the runway, while creative businesses like Archive Six, a small press and zine distributor with a focus on art and fat activism will be part of the pop up shop.
Chubstr will have a booth there, and a couple stylish gentlemen representing it, with a few of our favorite brands.
If that’s not enough, Knock Out’s guest speaker is one of our favorite people, Jes Baker, author of Things No One Will Tell Fat Girls, and the brains behind The Militant Baker. She’ll be holding a book signing after the event.
Come out and celebrate body positivity, fat acceptance, fashion, and pure awesome at Knock Out, on September 25th at Holocene, 1001 SE Morrison St, Portland, OR 97214. Get your tickets at Knockoutpdx.com.
