Today we’re starting a new weekly feature that will help you find clothing in your size in cities around the world. You won’t see the same old mall stores here – we focus on smaller, custom shops and boutiques that are off the beaten path. We’ll kick things off in the Pacific Northwest with Portland, Oregon.

When it comes to finding the resources to create your own style, few cities have more options than Portland, Oregon. With over 50 thrift and resale stores in the city, you’ll find quite a bit of vintage clothing. Portland is known for being fat-friendly, so that means you’ll have a much better chance of finding shops with clothing you love in sizes that actually fit you. We’ve scoured the city to bring you the best places to shop for men’s plus size clothing in Portland:
