Sized Up: Five Four Clothing, Los Angeles, CA
We were first introduced to Five Four Clothing by PLUS Model Magazine’s Executive Fashion Director (and recent Chubstr Crush) Reah Norman, when she submitted a photo of her man, Los Angeles Radio Personality Chuey Martinez. There aren’t a ton of options in L.A. for stylish clothing in extended sizes if you don’t want something tailor...

Sized Up: Johnny Cupcakes, Boston, MA
It may look like a bakery, but its not, and that’s the point. It’s Johnny Cupcakes, a Boston-based retailer and t-shirt design company that aims to redefine the shopping experience along with the basic t-shirt. Walking into one of their five stores is at once utterly confusing and amazing. Glass refrigerators and display cases you...

Sized Up: GQ’s Best Men’s Stores Offering Extended Size Clothing
A few months ago, GQ picked their 25 Best Men’s Stores in America and shared them with their readers. In many cases, the types of high end shops you find on lists like these don’t offer clothing in extended sizes, so if you’re like many of us, you probably don’t pay any attention to them....

Sized Up: Big Fat Flea in NYC
If you’re in the NYC area this weekend and you’re looking for clothing, consider attending Big Fat Flea 2012 – an “all-genders fatshion rummage sale for fat folks who like a bargain.” Previously known as Fat Girl Flea, the name has been changed this year to promote (and get) more masculine-spectrum clothing. At the Flea, you’ll...

Philadelphia is known for many different things, the first of which that comes to mind is the tasty Philly Cheesesteak, which I could really go for right now. My Gastronomical needs aside, Philadelphia is home to a variety of interesting clothing shops that cater to many different types of people and styles. If you’re in...

Sized Up: Kansas City, Missouri
We haven’t given all that much love to the midwest when it comes to our Sized Up articles, so over the next two weeks, we’re going to focus on some cities in Middle America and the cool shops they have to offer. We’re kicking things off today with 3 shops in Kansas City, Missouri that...
I've shopped old navy and seems like they are one of the only people that try remotely to cater to plus size mens clothing, however i find their jeans fit wonderful through the thigh area but not so much through the legs... i wear a 46 to where the jeans fit they look good, but i have found that the leg area they use too much fabric... even when I've tried their slim & skinny jeans. I just wish that they would test more and try making them look more tailored, without them being to tight or to big through the leg. I feel like a lot of stores really don't pay attention to this side of the size spectrum, probably because it costs them money. You don't see very many extended sizes in store for some reason and what you do find a lot of the time is over sized generic clothing basically drapes which seems like they guessed at what the size it might look like. Although stores like Casual Male XL has decent clothing... and you can find most extended sizes, its completely over priced, and since I'm young i do feel like they don't have styles current with younger generations, feel sorta like shopping with my dad. Although  it might seem like I'm bitter, not gonna lie kinda am I'll take what i can get and make it work, just wish some of these companies would pay us big guys and gals a little more attention and give us something stylish current and with a great fit!
