Get in on the Chubstr x Ball and Buck Secret Sale

We really dig Boston’s Ball and Buck. American made, well-constructed menswear for “the sporting gentleman.” You’ll find shirts, tees, shoes, outerwear, accessories and more – all with a vintage feel that’s been slightly turned on it’s head to make any given item totally unique. The best part? They offer some items in extended sizes.

In addition to a Hunter’s Shirt or three, I recommend one of their Perfect Wallets, or if you’re willing to put down a bit more cash, the Blue Claw Dunnage Duffel, or one of my favorite pieces of footwear, the Wolverine 1000 Mile Boot.

If we are about 2/3 of the population, it shouldn't be a small market. People will buy the clothes if they are provided. However, I will admit that not everyone can afford to pay $80 for a pair of jeans.

That's how it is for most plus-size clothing. It's such a small market, mostly containing small business that have to have higher prices since the developing small units of garments is almost as expensive as large units, but with a much smaller return. Also because the market is so limited, there hasn't been as much time for it to be flooded with fast fashion alternatives (which is a good thing for the fashion industry and factory workers, but a pain for consumers who want low price alternatives).

This article made me think of my biggest pet peeve when it comes to to buying clothes..... Since when did 5xl mean 44-46 inch waist? Those jogger pants were pretty cool but the sizes aren't even close to standard. However, thanks for giving us a good article.
