Consider Vinyl Me, Please Your Personal Record Curator

In this age of digital music, you can find and listen to just about anything within seconds. While having the ability to play your favorite tracks on demand is convenient, the trade-off is (generally) lower quality sound, and substandard curation on most digital music platforms. These are a few of the reasons for the resurgence of vinyl records, and the success of record of the month service, Vinyl Me, Please.

Vinyl Me, Please has a mission:

Our goal is to be the greatest music company ever, and to make your life even more awesome than it already is.

They do this by sending you a limited edition LP made exclusively for Vinyl Me, Please members, an original 12×12 art print, and a cocktail pairing recipe that complements the featured record. For vinyl enthusiasts, listening to a record is supposed to be an experience, and Vinyl Me, Please gives customers all the tools they need for exactly that.

Vinyl Me, Please - How it works

Past limited edition LPs include albums from J Dilla, Father John Misty, Perfume Genius, Sylvan Esso, and funk and soul music great, Charles Bradley. Each LP is exclusively pressed for Vinyl Me, Please, and includes goodies like bonus tracks, custom inserts or colored vinyl. You get music, a piece of artwork, and a cocktail recipe, all wrapped up in an experience completely curated by a team of people who understand that music is more than bytes and bits. Vinyl Me, Please Box

Vinyl Me, Please offers monthly/3 month/yearly subscriptions for $27, $75, and $284 respectively. If you want more records, you can purchase them from their members-only store at a discount. Whatever you buy will be shipped along with your next regular monthly package.

For me, listening to vinyl is a way to disconnect from the everyday distractions of my phone, my TV, and my computer. Add in the curated experience that Vinyl Me, Please offers, and you’ve got an interesting way to spend an evening, at least once a month.
