We spend a lot of time looking for high quality clothes in extended sizes, so when a brand comes to us with exactly that, we can’t help but share. Boston’s Ball and Buck, the lifestyle brand and retailer for the sporting gentleman, recently began offering their Hunter’s Shirt collection with sizes to 3XL.
When they decided to create this collection, the folks at Ball and Buck wanted to make a shirt that not only would last, but would be able to stand up to just about anything a guy could put it through. These 100% cotton shirts include stay strong collars and reinforced elbow patches, so they’re as functional as they are stylish. Speaking of function, if you’re a sportsman, you’ll appreciate the reinforced shooting shoulder built into each of the shirts. This also lends the shirts a more distinctive look.
I’m wearing the Patterned Hunter’s Shirt B in a 3X in these photos. Much to my surprise, I found the 3X to be a bit roomy for me, but after washing the shirt, it felt like it fit perfectly.
Putting it on, the solid construction of the Hunter’s Shirt really stood out to me. The 6oz oxford cloth is suitably heavy, and the detailed stitching ensures that the shirt doesn’t feel like it’s going to tear or fray after a few wears. The various tags strategically placed on different parts of the shirt add additional detail that you don’t find in similar items from other brands. This is a piece of clothing that’s made to last for years.
The Ball and Buck Hunter’s Shirt collection, like all of the products they create and sell, in the U.S.A. Choose from more than 12 colors and patterns with sizes to 3X for $168. Shop for shirts, their “perfect” wallets, shoes, hats, keychains and more at BallandBuck.com.
And when you find them...its a small fortune for like one thing! I don't take THAT much extra fabric. It's utterly ridiculous!
