Long time reader @fluffyonsize asked via Twitter: Hi. I’m interested with Country outfits style. Could you help me figured which is the best style? Especially for big and tall man. Like little cowboy or something. But more to casual. Wearing shirts, boots, vest etc. I’m new on this, so need an advice 🙂
When it comes to big and tall western wear, you’ve got a lot of options. From contemporary western shirts, to a full cowboy getup, you can put together whatever look you prefer in extended sizes.
For the type of button down western shirts all the kids are wearing these days, you can shop just about anywhere. Old Navy has a limited selection of patterned and denim big and tall western shirts starting at $13.99, with sizes to XXXL. Again, the selection isn’t the largest you’ll find out there, but if you like the look and want to try it out, this may work for you. Want something a bit more authentic, but still somewhat modern? Take a look at the Sierra Trading Post big and tall western shirts, with sizes to 5XL. They have prints that run the spectrum from paisley to plaid and everything in-between. There are even a few of those western shirts with the embroidered roses on the front, if that’s your thing.
Not country enough for you? Go straight to Shepler’s Western Stores and get everything you need, from cowboy hats, boots, and jeans, to accessories, belt buckles, and workwear. The Shepler’s big and tall section offers sizes to 6XL and a 66 x 30 waist (in very limited quantities). There are a lot of other places to shop for big and tall western wear, including Wrangler, Cavenders, and Urban Western Wear. Look for a more in-depth article on this kind of stuff in the near future.
