Welcome once again to the semi-regular feature we like to call Style Deconstructed. We see lots of great looks out there, but they are generally tailored to guys with a smaller build. It can be difficult if not impossible to find and put together all of the pieces in the sizes that actually fit.
In this edition, we take Jonah Hill as our inspiration for creating a light, casual look for spring and into summer. This look features a neutral blazer paired with a dark wash denim and a striped tee for a little color.
We’ve added a pair of boat shoes from Oak Street Bootmakers to give this look a more casual finish. We also like the pairing of the boat shoes with the blue and white striped tee for a subtle nautical look that’s perfect for your Memorial Day barbecues.
As always, we remind you that these looks are deconstructed merely as guides and we encourage you to add your own flavor and style (and we’d love to see your versions of these looks—submit them here).
Have a look you’d like to see deconstructed? Let us know and if possible, we’ll feature it in an upcoming article.
