Get Custom Jeans at Make Your Own Jeans

Shopping in general can be a headache, especially when you need larger sizes. But shopping for jeans, more often than not, is pure migraine level. So we’re always happy to see companies that work to make finding a great pair of jeans easier. We’ve told you about Imogene & Willie who do handmade and some custom-made jeans in Nashville.

Now we add Make Your Own Jeans to the list of resources for finding a pair of jeans that fit. Just as the name says, Make Your Own Jeans is an online shop that allows you to create custom jeans based on your own personal measurements.

For right around $60 (give or take) you can select the denim, the wash, and enter in your measurements to have a pair of jeans custom made. And while that’s a pretty spectacular deal, the site also offers a service to clone jeans that you already own.

So if you have a favorite pair of jeans and just can’t find them anywhere, you can send them to the company’s New York messenger service, who will then ship the jeans to their India headquarters where they say they can match up the style, fit, and measurements.

As if that weren’t enough, browse the site a little more and you’ll find a wide variety of items that can be custom made at reasonable prices for you. From leather jackets to shirts and vests, it seems Make Your Own Jeans can handle just about anything you might want or need.

At first glance, the site can seem a little overwhelming, but we spent some time digging around and found the variety of garments and customizations quite impressive. Because fit is so important when it comes to looking put together and stylish, custom made items are a great way to go and we’re always interested when we find companies that offer a variety of custom options. However, we haven’t tried the service out just yet so we can’t speak to the quality of the finished products or the time it takes to have them made and receive them.

We’d love to hear from readers who have or will be giving the site a shot—just leave us your thoughts on the process in the comments below or on our Facebook page.

I love that site. At 16 my son is 6'4' & weighs 280. Its difficult to find him jeans that don't look like old man jeans.
