It’s Friday and that means another Thing of the Week. We come across a lot of interesting products, services, and ideas throughout the course of the week, and they don’t always fit into articles we’re writing for the site. Thing of the Week is the place for us to share those items, whatever they are, with you. Some of them are related to the things you’d expect to find at Chubstr, while some aren’t. You never know what you’ll find.
I’m not actually a very big fan of Morgan Spurlock, but I am a fan of Will Arnett and Jason Bateman and many of the other actors who make appearances in Spurlock’s latest film ‘Mansome.’ I’m also a fan of films that investigate and analyze what it means to be anything in society today. ‘Mansome’ investigates the world of male grooming as Spurlock tries to answer the question what makes a man? The film was one of the biggest hits at the Tribeca Film festival and gets a limited theatrical release starting May 18.

A few weeks ago I picked up a brand new kindle, and it promptly slipped out of my hands, crashing to the hard ground. That’s when I decided I probably needed some kind of cover for it. I looked at a lot of options, but couldn’t find anything I liked until I looked an ad here at Chubstr. Turns out, Rickshaw Bags carries Kindle sleeves. They’re fuzzy, they’re durable, and they start at $25. Rickshaw products are handmade, and high quality – two things I was looking for in a sleeve. There are some business ideas out there you just wish you’d come up with yourself. Shitter is one of them. For those of you unfamiliar with it, Shitter is a service that takes the tweets or timeline from your Twitter account and turns it into 4 rolls of toilet paper, which are then delivered to you. Show your friends how important their tweets really are by giving them a roll. Or, get one for your enemies. You could always just get a couple for your bathroom. Check it out: www.getshitter.com.
