“Loveable,” “Goofy,” “Harmless.” Three words we often see associated with this week’s Man of the Week, or rather with the characters he always seems to play. From resident bonehead with a heart of gold, Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation to the luckiest chef with a questionable frat boy-esque past, Alex opposite Jason Segel in The Five Year Engagement, Chris Pratt is certainly making a splash in Hollywood these days.
Because we have come to love the characters he portrays we are especially thrilled to see him getting some pretty major coverage this month in the likes of GQ and Esquire, where he discusses “marrying above his pay grade,” when he married Anna Faris three years ago and makes the claim that “chicks dig lovehandles.” We happen to agree wholeheartedly with that.
What’s more, as Eqsuire puts it: “He’s good-looking like a normal person is good-looking, funny like a normal person is funny. Relatable.” We couldn’t have said it better (that’s why we didn’t), but for us, it really embodies what we look for in our men of the week. And with that we close out another edition and remind you all that Chris Pratt can currently be seen co-starring with Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, and Alison Brie in The Five Year Engagement.
As always, if you have suggestions for future men of the week, please do head over to our Facebook page and let us know.
