Will you pay full price online? Gilt Groupe thinks so.

A few weeks ago we told you about Jack Threads, a daily deals site just for men and as it turns out, many online retailers are starting to recognize that women aren’t the only shoppers online. Gilt Groupe, a flash-sale site featuring designer fashions for men and women, recently announced plans to launch a new site that’s just for men.

The site, a division of Gilt Men, is called Men’s Full Price and the company expects to launch it in early July. Yes, you read that right. Men’s Full Price won’t be featuring deep discounts or sales on men’s clothing. Gilt is confident that men will buy at full price. They say menswear sales are a “material” part of their business and make a point to note that their current men’s store members are highly engaged and interactive within the Gilt Man community.

Men’s Full Price is yet another in a growing list of sites catering to men and seems to be an indication that the retail, or at least e-tail, industry is taking note of the growing interest in fashion among men. And we’ll be the first to admit, we’re thrilled to see a renewed interest in stylish menswear and accessories available online.

But we’re curious, how likely are you to buy from a site without a sale incentive? Is price a major factor in your online buying decisions? Let us know in the comments below.

I never compromise fit for style or vice versa. I may mean leaving a store with nothing sometimes, but I wont buy something drab that fits, or something stylish that is ill fitting.

 One word. NO.
Especially considering that as a bigger guy (somewhat between XL and XXL) getting things that fit is important. In a store you can try things on, but online you are just hoping that things run true to their sizes. I shop online a lot, but only at places like PLNDR, because the deep discount compensates for not being able to know for sure if something will fit. Paying full price? And then having to return stuff on my dime when it doesn't fit like it should? No sir.
