Twitter follower @aaalisson asked us the following:

Where could I get an XXL leather jacket?

Thanks for the question, aaalisson. You’re in luck – there are quite a few places you can go to find leather jackets in a variety of styles and sizes. Since it’s summer here in the Western Hemisphere, there isn’t as much of an emphasis on this kind of outerwear, so you can find some pretty decent deals if you search hard enough. Here are a few places we’d recommend you take a look at first:

Wilsons: The ARE the leather experts, after all. Take a look at the big and tall section to choose from 10 types of leather jacket. Wilsons offers sizes up to XXL tall.

Torre Big & Tall: Specializing in men’s big and tall apparel, Torre offers leather and suede jackets to 7XL.

Orvis: If you wade through the suede and sheepskin, you can find leather jackets that look like they could take quite a bit of abuse. Great if you’re going to be out and about in it. Sizes up to XXL. If you don’t mind navigating a pretty ugly website, you can take a look at what Big Tall Direct has to offer in sizes up to 5XL.

Overstock: With 120 options ranging from XL to 3XL, there’s probably something here that will fit your tastes.

John Varvatos: It’s a bit on the pricey side, but it’s awesome. If you can pull off the greaser look, this one’s a no-brainer. Available in XL and XXL.

Mr. Porter: You’d be hard pressed to find better jackets than what Mr. Porter has to offer. Of course, with high quality come high prices, so be prepared to spend a pretty penny on leather jackets here. Available up to XXL.

This should give you a few to choose from. If none of these work for you, don’t forget to check the usual places, like Amazon (to 5XL) and Ebay (up to 10XL).

I've shopped old navy and seems like they are one of the only people that try remotely to cater to plus size mens clothing, however i find their jeans fit wonderful through the thigh area but not so much through the legs... i wear a 46 to where the jeans fit they look good, but i have found that the leg area they use too much fabric... even when I've tried their slim & skinny jeans. I just wish that they would test more and try making them look more tailored, without them being to tight or to big through the leg. I feel like a lot of stores really don't pay attention to this side of the size spectrum, probably because it costs them money. You don't see very many extended sizes in store for some reason and what you do find a lot of the time is over sized generic clothing basically drapes which seems like they guessed at what the size it might look like. Although stores like Casual Male XL has decent clothing... and you can find most extended sizes, its completely over priced, and since I'm young i do feel like they don't have styles current with younger generations, feel sorta like shopping with my dad. Although  it might seem like I'm bitter, not gonna lie kinda am I'll take what i can get and make it work, just wish some of these companies would pay us big guys and gals a little more attention and give us something stylish current and with a great fit!
